As Father’s Day is approaching, it means getting together with the entire family and celebrating this day for our Dad.  But for many, it can be heartbreaking, as their beloved Dad has passed away and will be missed so very much.  It is for these people that I write this message.

Both my husband and I are in the situation where our Dad’s have both passed on for many years now.  The first one was devastating as my Dad passed away three days before Father’s Day in 1995.  No one missed him more than my Mom, as she was missing her life-long friend and husband.

Now, we invite our Dads to visit us and we wish them a very Happy Father’s Day and the best thing is that we know they hear us.  You might wonder how I know this.  Well, first you must know that my husband is a tactile medium and his abilities enhanced in early 2003.  Barry started receiving messages and was not sure why but wrote them down as he could not concentrate on anything else until he did this.  I have compiled all of these messages into two books.  As things progressed, he received a message from his Dad and we were so very excited to know that he was very much alive and doing great.  After reading the message many times, I told Barry that I wished so much to hear from my Dad.  Believe me, he was listening and started immediately to give Barry his message.  What a very special day and I was so excited that I called my Mom and read it to her.  She too was happy to hear that he is fine and well and living on the Other Side.

I always believed in life after death and knew that everyone, who passed on, was in a better place, they were healthy and happy.  But when you receive confirmation of this fact, it is totally amazing.  If you have ever wondered what your loved ones are doing on the Other Side, just think about the things that they never got the chance to do in this life and know that is what they are now experiencing.  For my Dad, he always wanted to build a beautiful new home for all of us to live in, but it was something that never happened.  We had a great home, but it was older and my Dad was always fixing something, which is why he wanted to build a brand new home.

Well, that is exactly what he did and he built a very large home and told us that he built a room for each of us, but not to rush as we all have very long lives and many things to accomplish in our life charts before coming home.  Yes, I said home.  Every one of us is from the Other Side, it is our natural home and where we lived before starting our Earthly experience.   Barry’s Dad always loved the water and wanted to own a beautiful boat and go sailing.  This is exactly what he is doing.  There are so many things to do on the Other Side, so this is just one of the many things they are doing, but you get the idea.  If you have read my book “Things to do on the Other Side”, you already know the possibilities are endless.

It is just so comforting to know that our Dads, as well as everyone of our family and friends that has passed over, is continuing to live on, loving their life, visiting us, watching over us and sending us inspiration for all we have to do on our Earthly experience.  It is same for every single person who has beloved family members and friends who have passed on.  The only thing we lose is our physical body, our soul lives on.  After all, we are all spiritual beings just inhabiting physical bodies for this experience.  Our spirits, or souls as it is also called, moves onto another realm, a parallel universe and we continue to live in this most wondrous place that God has created for us.  There are many names like Heaven, Nirvana and others, but when talking to anyone from this parallel universe, they call it the Other Side.

I realize that even though this may make you feel a little better on Father’s Day, it will not replace seeing your Dad or giving him a great big physical bear hug.  Just know that he will hear you if you talk out loud to him and he will enjoy the fact that you are remembering him each and every day, but especially on this most wonderful Father’s Day.

God Bless and Happy Father’s Day!
