I certainly believe in the second scenario as a coming of spiritual awakening for mankind. I have seen recent TV shows regarding this issue and it is the consensus of most people that humans will continue to exist here on Earth, and that this is yet another transformation of mankind. If you ask a scientist how long humans have inhabited the Earth or you go by the Bible, you will get different answers. I believe that there were different events that have happened here on Earth, but we may not be aware of them in our history books. We have been told about Atlantis, which existed 9,000 to 10,000 years ago. These people were human beings, and quite intelligent. They lived in a thriving society, loved to sing and dance, used computers to monitor weather and water levels just to name a few. They utilized crystals for their computers and stored their songs on the crystals for all to hear. They even used crystals for their weapons, which made them shoot farther than anyone else on Earth. But, that was the down fall and eventually the island of Atlantis was buried under the water. This is not listed in our history books, nor is Atlantis on our maps. However, it did exist and will be found within the near future and we will be able to study many artifacts. (I got a little wordy on this subject, but I love it so much). We have received information years ago about the 666 scare and of course, when we approached the year 2000. Our Guides tell us that we are safe here on Earth and that life on our world will continue to thrive and to worry about these dates is not needed. But, I think as we get closer to the 2012 date, we will just see some wonderful changes that involve the spread of spirituality, a continued thinning of the veil between our world and the Other Side and people coming together in a way that we have never seen before. We are told that everyone on Earth today came on this incarnation as we knew it was a special time in the history of mankind. I, for one, am glad to be living in this time on Earth to see all the special events that will unfold in the 21st century. The movie "2012" will be out soon and I am sure it will cause issues with some religious groups protesting this film. This happens every time and it seems to bring more people into the theaters just out of curiosity. I saw a show regarding this movie and the person involved in producing this film actually said that he does not believe in the end of the world scenario; he thought it was a great idea to make a movie. I think it is a very controversial subject and I am sure the movie will do great. I plan to see it just to see the special effects and scenarios that unfold in the film. The Other Side is a concept that is hard to wrap your mind around, especially when we are thinking with a physical brain. I like your statement that “it’s simply lifting the curtain of cosmic delusion”. I agree with you, as being here on Earth is truly a dream state. What we see with our physical eyes is explained as an illusion that we see during our conscious hours while we are awake When we reincarnate, there is always a part of us that remains on the Other Side; it is our connection to the Other Side. When our life lessons are finished, here on our Earthly realm, our souls are released from our physical bodies. It’s like knowing we are in this realm (which feels like our reality), and just all of a sudden, being back on the Other Side. There seems to be a veil or curtain effect that is between our lower frequency dimension and the Other Side’s higher frequency dimension. To explain our “life chart”, it is something that we take a lot of time preparing for our reincarnation. A reincarnation is an experience in this physical negative realm, to learn life lessons for God. It is just a temporary experience, and we do it as negativity is not allowed on the Other Side. We advance our souls even more when in the physical realms. So, we decide to reincarnate for this physical experience. We have many friends on the Other Side and it is very common for a group of friends to reincarnate together. Some will be our family and others friends. We write our entire life experience, to the smallest detail, pick a close personal friend to be our Guide (who remains on the Other Side to watch over us) and talk to the Council of Elders to make sure we have made all the necessary arrangements and that we are ready for this experience. It is at this time that you can back out; but most will not. Then we all are born in our Earthly bodies and our adventure begins. Even though we wrote our own charts, once in our physical bodies, we will not remember what we planned, but it will unfold during our time on Earth. Here is where I believe that Karma comes into play. We will naturally know our family as we grow up together, but throughout our lives, we meet people who we are drawn to, people who we did not know but interact with them in the different times of this experience.
